Television on Wednesday 21:15: Spy comes to Iceland
The first part of the film ‘Out into the unknown’ will be shown on television on Wednesday. It has been long-awaited here, much of the film was taken in this country and many Icelanders took part in it, including Ragnheiður Steindórsdóttir, who plays the second lead role.
The film is based on a novel by Desmond Bagley. It tells the story of a former employee of British Intelligence, who is compelled to take a package to Iceland. Refusing to tell his enemies, Russian spies, the location of the package. Fortunately for the Britain he has an Icelandic girlfriend in Reykjavík. The mission is given to Stuart Wilson from Britain.
