The opening sequence is titled ‘Sweden 1974’ and shows the explosion of Jimmy Birkby’s car. The actual filming location is currently unknown, though it is most likely to be located somewhere in Scotland. An article from the Glasgow Herald indicates that filming took place at Duchray Castle, located in the Loch Ard Forest at Aberfoyle with with some more location work following in the west end of Glasgow.
