The first part of the television series Running Blind, or Út í óvissuna, based on Desmond Bagley’s novel, was shown on British television last night.
As is well known, BBC television filmed this story in Iceland last summer. Ragnheiður Steindórsdóttir plays one of the main roles in the film, with other main roles played by Stuart Wilson and George Sewell.
Running Blind will be shown in three parts. The first part was shown at 9:25pm on the BBC channel, the next part will be shown a week later at the same time and the third one two weeks later, also at the same time.
This series has been much advertised on British television recently stating that the filming took place in Iceland last summer.
